Game play

The gameplay uses the same basic mechanics as other 18xx games. However the focus of the game is more on the operation of the companies, than on the stockmarket.

My goal in the development of this game was to create a short 18xx game wich is also suited for players who are new to the 18xx system. For this reason I kept the game reasonably straight forward and there are no extra's, like mergers, loans etc.

Rules specific for Steam over Holland

The game is limited to 15 rounds: 5 sets of 1 stock round and 2 operation rounds.
Companies can sell and buy their own stock to raise capital.
Companies recieve dividend for stock in the company treasury, not from stock in the open market.
Place or upgrade 2 tiles per rounde.
Companies can go bankrupt, players do not go bankrupt.
