These ruins are my first project with Hirsts Arts blocks. The blocks are of made of a rather soft plaster and I didn't want to use them for a building. Making ruines like these is fast and easy. Just build a few remnants of walls and mount them on thick card or something similar. I used left over cork floor tiles, they are easy to cut and don't warp. The paintjob is also simple. A black basecoat heavily dry-brushed with a medium grey and finally drybrushed with a light grey.
