Tower Manor

The stonework is made of plaster blocks cast with some molds from Hirsts Arts. The walls of the top floor are made of foam-core and balsa wood with some clear plastic for window-pane's. The floor on the 2nd floor is also balsa. The rooftiles and the floortiles are cardboard. The stairs and the fireplace I made from smaller blocks. The door is balsa wood with strips of card for the hinges. All the stone was base-coated black dry-brushed with grey for the walls and brown and yellow for the fireplace and stairs, just to break up all that grey. The top walls were first painted with a light brown mixed with birdsand. They were then painted white, leaving some of the brown visible round the edges. It took longer to build than I thougth, but I'm pleased with the result.
